Freycinet Waters

Accommodation | East Coast | Swansea

If you are looking to relax and unwind with the sand between your toes and a cold drink by your side, then the seaside town of Swansea is a must for your Lap of Tasmania itinerary.

It is a fantastic place to spend some time, with the premium wineries in and around Apslawn and Cranbrook just 15 minutes away to the north, and the delicious preserves and other sweet delights of Kate’s Berry Farm barely 5 minutes outside town.

It is your ideal base for exploring the southern stretches of Tasmania’s iconic east coast, and the best place to rest your head is with Bob and Karen at Freycinet Waters bed and breakfast!

With its cool white walls, blue accents and cute little paling fence, Freycinet Waters would have to be one of the prettiest little bed and breakfasts you will find anywhere in Tasmania.

Your hosts, Bob and Karen, put their heart and soul into this wonderful B&B, and it is clear from the amazing customer feedback they receive that they will do everything possible to make you feel at home, at ease, and armed with everything you could possibly need to enjoy this beautiful corner of Tasmania!

Oh… and did I mention the stunning water views?!

Freycinet Waters is perfectly located, within walking distance of not just Swansea’s best beaches but also the town centre and its friendly cafes, and other dining options.

These are excellent options nearby for lunch and dinner, but when it comes to breakfast you must try the full ‘English’ cooked breakfast that Bob and Karen offer at Freycinet Waters. Not only do you get your traditional favourites like bacon, eggs, tomatoes and mushrooms, but if you’re feeling adventurous you can also opt-in for both haggis and black pudding!

A spacious suite is located at the rear of the property, complete with king sized bed and private courtyard. Heading upstairs to the first floor you will find a modern, self-contained apartment with a full kitchen, laundry facilities and a fantastic deck that is ideal for longer stays.

"A fantastic place to stay in Swansea. So much attention to detail with room amenities and little extras added (sweets and little port jug). You can really see that your hosts, Karen and Bob, want to make their guests feel welcome. Breakfast the next morning was excellent. Would highly recommend this B&B as a place to stay when travelling up Tasmania's East Coast!"
